Overview
An established entertainment brand is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial planning and analysis across multiple business units including games, e-commerce, licensing, and hardware. This role reports to the Director of FP&A and offers an opportunity to contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a dynamic environment with evolving systems.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process with hands-on ownership of spreadsheet models and financial data
- Prepare regular financial reports and variance analyses across business units
- Collaborate with and coordinate the India-based FP&A team on daily deliverables and reporting workflows
- Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and scenario planning
- Contribute to the development of KPI dashboards and data reporting tools
- Work cross-functionally with department heads to gather inputs and provide financial insights
- Identify and implement process improvements as systems and infrastructure evolve
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in finance, including FP&A, corporate reporting, or a combination
- Experience in the video game industry (studio, publisher, or platform) strongly preferred; understanding of game development, distribution, and monetization is a plus
- Exposure to multi-entity or global organizations is advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills; spreadsheets are central to this role
- Comfortable working in environments where systems are not fully systematized; a builder mindset
- Proficiency with AI tools and enthusiasm for applying them to financial workflows
- Familiarity with Power Query or similar dataset tools is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Compensation
- Target salary range: $80,000 - $95,000
