Overview
This role involves joining a data-driven organization focused on advancing AI capabilities through foundational model training and enterprise AI agent development. The organization provides evaluation tools, reinforcement learning environments, and a data platform to produce high-quality training data. The team has raised over $40 million in funding and operates a global network of domain experts.
The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy by leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts. This position partners with cross-functional teams to support strategic business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes aligned with business objectives.
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects, business case evaluations, and special initiatives.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business performance and conduct scenario analysis.
- Analyze operational dashboards and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and influence strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency through financial analysis.
- Work closely with the finance team to address operational constraints, bottlenecks, and challenges during rapid scaling.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience at a top investment bank, consulting firm, and/or high-growth startup.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling techniques.
- Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to engage in any project or task critical to the organization.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering insights that drive efficiency and business growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting financial planning in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- Proficiency with financial planning software or business intelligence tools.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
