Overview
A leading global analytics software company is seeking a Senior OneStream Architect to join their Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This technical leadership role will focus on optimizing and expanding the OneStream ecosystem to support global finance operations and drive strategic business outcomes through advanced financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end OneStream architecture and solution design, including complex financial modeling for global finance operations.
- Design and manage enterprise-scale data integrations connecting OneStream with Snowflake and multiple source systems such as Oracle EBS, Salesforce, and Workday.
- Optimize system performance through Business Rules refinement, Cube View tuning, and infrastructure monitoring to maintain sub-second response times.
- Design intuitive user experiences and streamlined workflows to enable finance stakeholders to efficiently use OneStream capabilities.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, data governance policies, and security protocols to ensure compliance with SOX and internal audit requirements.
- Collaborate with senior finance leadership to translate strategic business requirements into scalable technical architectures supporting long-term growth.
- Provide technical escalation support for critical issues and develop robust disaster recovery protocols to protect enterprise financial data.
- Mentor FP&A and technical teams on architectural best practices, code quality, and system scalability.
- Evaluate and implement emerging OneStream technologies (e.g., BI/Relational Blend, Genesis, Sensible AI) to enhance financial reporting and predictive insights.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of deep OneStream XF experience, including complex business rule development (VB.NET/C#), solution design, and production deployments.
- Expertise in OneStream SaaS financial modeling, including subscription revenue recognition, cohort analysis, and consumption-based forecasting.
- Proficiency in OneStream governance and automation, with hands-on experience optimizing Application Control Manager (ACM) processes.
- Advanced integration skills with experience architecting OneStream connections to enterprise systems (Snowflake, Oracle EBS, Salesforce) using REST APIs and web services.
- Strong SQL skills for complex financial data modeling, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Financial domain knowledge including budgeting/forecasting, audit controls, and regulatory reporting.
- Experience with OneStream platform extensibility, including MarketPlace solution implementation and custom extensibility framework development.
- Ability to align and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, translating strategic requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Technical leadership experience managing internal teams and external vendors through complex OneStream implementations and post-go-live support.
- Proven mentorship and knowledge transfer capabilities to elevate team technical competencies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information systems.
- OneStream Certified Professional Architect certification is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Targeted base pay range: $130,000 to $204,000, depending on candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
