Overview
A leading blockchain technology organization is seeking a highly experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their team. This senior-level role involves driving financial planning and analysis activities, collaborating closely with department leaders, the finance team, and data teams to provide strategic financial support and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, timely, accurate, and insightful financial data to department leads and the executive team.
- Prepare comprehensive current and forecasted cost projections across all business areas.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure alignment of financial data.
- Develop and rigorously test financial models for new products to support critical business decisions.
- Lead the strategic growth of the FP&A function, focusing on scalability and process automation.
- Respond to ad-hoc financial modeling requests from various business units.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A or related fields such as investment banking or management consulting at a senior level.
- Experience in Web3/crypto companies or a demonstrated personal interest in cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), and digital assets.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and a strong willingness to learn additional financial tools.
- Excellent communication skills with extensive experience managing Director-level or equivalent stakeholders.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Genuine passion for blockchain technology and a strong desire to deepen knowledge of cryptocurrency data and analytics.
- Adaptability to work effectively in a startup environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and experience with financial modeling software.
- CFA and/or CPA certification.

Location
This is a global, remote-based position. Candidates located in time zones between US Pacific Time and US Eastern Time are preferred to facilitate collaboration. Some overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours is expected.
