Overview
A large online platform hosting over 100,000 active communities and attracting approximately 126 million daily active unique visitors is seeking an FP&A Manager. This role is essential in providing financial visibility and insights that influence senior executive decision-making and strategic direction in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial analyses across business areas
- Develop flexible financial and workforce models to assess headcount growth and hiring needs against benchmarks and long-term goals
- Deliver actionable insights on business growth drivers, risks, and opportunities to management
- Partner with business leaders to build forecasting, reporting, and financial presentations supporting informed decision-making
- Streamline FP&A processes including planning, forecasting, reporting automation, and model development
- Collaborate daily with Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources on budget tracking and progress evaluation
- Support strategic resource allocation through cross-functional partnership
- Act as a visible resource for business and executive leadership in a cross-functional capacity
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-growth technology companies, preferably in HR Finance or Compensation partnership roles
- Advanced skills in MS Excel/Google Sheets and proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides; experience with SQL and ERP systems is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on results, innovation, and actionable recommendations in fast-paced settings
- Proven ability to execute and implement strategic ideas, processes, and programs
- Knowledge of company valuation methods and experience with flexible forecasting and scenario modeling
- Experience analyzing large datasets to extract financial insights and provide data-driven recommendations
- Ability to work cross-functionally with executives and partner teams
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $154,700—$216,600 USD
- Eligibility for equity in restricted stock units and potential commission depending on the position
