Responsibilities

Manage accounting activities for assigned state and federal grants
Review and approve grant-related expenditures and procurement activity
Perform budgeting, budget-to-actual analysis, and financial reporting
Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and posting issues

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; Finance degree considered with strong accounting experience
Grant Accounting experience beyond accounts payable-focused responsibilities
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
Experience with full-cycle accounting
Abila MIP software experience
