Group Financial Controller

Overview

The organization is seeking a Group Financial Controller to play a key role in further developing the finance function within an international software and consulting group. This position supports ongoing financial transformation and involves group reporting, consolidation, forecasting, compliance monitoring, and decision support.

You will work closely with the Group CFO and existing Controllers, taking a central role in group reporting, consolidation, and financial follow-up processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly reporting process and period-end close
• Prepare group reporting, including analyses and recommended actions
• Support short-term forecasting and business controlling
• Perform group consolidation
• Lead budgeting and long-term forecasting, including technical modelling
• Monitor and ensure compliance with the Group’s transfer pricing policy
• Monitor liquidity and complete cash flow forecasts
• Assist with audits
• Support and act as backup for Controllers and the CFO when required
• Support potential M&A activities
• Assist the CFO with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and decision support
• Drive process improvements through the use of AI and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Economics, or a related field
• Experience with group reporting and consolidation in international organizations
• Ability to combine financial controlling and business controlling
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably PowerOffice
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (English is the primary working language)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BI tools, automated reporting, or AI-based finance solutions
• Experience from consulting, software, and/or project-based businesses
• Commercial mindset
