Insurance Auditor
Overview
The organization is seeking a full-time Insurance Auditor in St Louis, MO. This role delivers accurate, high-quality audit services while building professional relationships with clients. Work involves taking ownership of daily tasks, collaborating with clients, and contributing to ongoing audit deliverables.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling options of 8 am–5 pm or 7 am–4 pm.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch from home to organize client appointments and maintain a structured daily schedule
- Conduct on-site and virtual audits
- Thoroughly review payroll data, financial records, and operational documents
- Evaluate information to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Apply critical thinking to complete audit reports
- Prepare clear, organized audit documentation that supports both clients and internal teams
- Ensure audit details meet professional standards
Requirements
- Proficiency with technology, computers, video conference software, and Microsoft-based programs
- Professional attitude with effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, stay organized, and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Self-starter mindset with resourceful problem-solving skills and a drive to meet targets
- Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree (or higher) in a subject such as accounting, mathematics, education, marketing, or business (education is weighted more than experience)
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, financial analysis, or premium audit
- Experience as a loan officer or office manager
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $42,000–$55,000 per year
