Overview
An organization in the Consumer Technology sector is seeking an International Finance Manager to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that support business decisions. This role involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and develop scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $153,000 – $161,500 annually
Responsibilities
- Act as the finance partner for the company’s international expansion, leading financial forecasting and planning efforts
- Collaborate with various departments to identify market entry opportunities and evaluate investment risks
- Develop and refine financial models to support scenario planning and decision-making
- Analyze market dynamics and operational performance to provide actionable insights
- Manage monthly and quarterly actuals versus forecast processes, including variance analysis and reporting
- Adjust processes and recommendations in response to changes in the international business landscape
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in strategic or corporate finance or related analytical roles
- Advanced skills in financial modeling and forecasting
- Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, especially in preparing materials for executive audiences
- Proven ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams
- Self-starter with adaptability to fast-paced environments
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficiency with presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Experience with SQL and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
- Knowledge of AI and automation technologies
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., R, Python)
- Understanding of consumer market analytics and SaaS financial metrics
