Overview

This role involves leading the development and execution of a global tax strategy for a cloud-based supply chain management solutions provider with a growing international presence. The International Tax Manager will oversee international tax compliance, reporting, and planning, including transfer pricing policies and intercompany agreements. The position requires collaboration with internal teams across financial reporting, accounting, treasury, and legal, as well as coordination with external firms worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance, ensuring alignment with international standards and local country requirements (including BEPS, CbC, and related filings).
  • Oversee preparation and filing of complex international tax calculations, returns, and forms such as FDII, GILTI, FTC, Subpart F, BEAT, and Forms 5471, 8858, 1118.
  • Monitor changes in international tax laws and regulations; analyze and model impacts on tax positions and policies; communicate conclusions to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual foreign income tax provision calculations, memos, account reconciliations, and disclosures in accordance with ASC 740 (US GAAP), IFRS, or other local reporting standards.
  • Manage non-US income tax compliance and reporting through global tax filing calendar coordination with local accounting and tax advisors.
  • Identify and maximize international tax incentives and credits, including Canadian SRED and e-business credits.
  • Assist with M&A due diligence, post-acquisition integration, and global tax and legal entity structure planning.
  • Partner with treasury to manage global cash pools and analyze tax implications of cross-border cash transactions.
  • Support company, finance, and tax strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinate and manage local country tax audits and inquiries from US and foreign tax authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-7 years of progressive tax experience, including at least 2-3 years focused on international tax.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting or a multinational corporation tax department.
  • Strong knowledge of US international tax rules including GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credit, CbC reporting, OECD guidelines, digital service taxes, and VAT.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and effective team collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management abilities.
  • Advanced analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify complex tax information for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with tax provision software (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision) is a plus.

  • Annual salary range: $92,400 - $147,800, determined by education, skills, work history, certifications, location, and other factors.

Location

This is a remote-eligible position with occasional travel (approximately 4-6 times per year) to the headquarters in Minneapolis, MN for onboarding, training, and company meetings.
