Investment Banking Specialist, Part-Time AI Finance Review - Remote (United States)

This role supports AI training and evaluation for real-world financial analysis. Work involves creating realistic financial analysis scenarios, assessing outputs for accuracy and consistency, and writing explanations and corrections in the style of an investment banking professional.

Responsibilities

• Analyze companies and sectors to support financial analysis used in AI training
• Assess buyer and target screening results and comparable-company analysis for accuracy and consistency
• Build, update, and troubleshoot Excel-based transaction models, including scenario analysis
• Prepare and edit pitchbook materials that outline possible transactions and strategic rationale
• Explain numerical errors or weak logic clearly and in a professional manner

Requirements

• Investment banking experience at the Senior Associate/Vice President level, supporting M&A or industry coverage for a sector-focused advisory firm, an M&A boutique, or an investment bank
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Live acquisition and sale processes
  • Advanced Excel modeling
  • Reviewing valuation and transaction models
  • Researching companies and industries
  • Screening targets
  • Analyzing comparable companies
  • Preparing pitchbooks
• Fluent in English
• No AI experience needed (training will be provided on the tools)
