Overview
This role requires deep hands-on experience in implementing and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Accounting modules, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Manufacturing, Variance Accounting, and Job Costing. A strong understanding of integrations with inventory, sales, and purchasing modules is essential. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective use of the JD Edwards system across all modules. The finance consultant will engage with senior financial stakeholders such as CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Manufacturing Accountants.

Responsibilities
- Implement JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 finance modules with deep expertise
- Understand and apply Financial and Distribution Automatic Accounting Instructions
- Design Flex Accounting setups
- Develop and manage security roles for accounting teams
- Lead and provide solutions for accounting teams across all accounting aspects
- Deliver best practice solutions for General Ledger setup and design, including Business Units and chart of accounts
- Build and deploy User Defined Objects (UDOs) and utilize OMW web effectively
- Perform data migrations and ensure accurate data flow between systems
- Design and execute test scripts; conduct system testing to validate configurations and updates
- Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within modules
- Monitor system performance and coordinate upgrades or patches as needed
- Develop and deliver user training and documentation for smooth system transitions
- Stay current with JD Edwards and ERP technology trends to recommend improvements
- Collaborate with business users to understand sales workflows and optimize JD Edwards configuration
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into JD Edwards configuration solutions
- Work with third-party tax software integrations such as Alavera and Vertex
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience with JD Edwards Finance and Accounting, specifically EnterpriseOne 9.2; JD Edwards World experience is a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of JD Edwards General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Product Costing
- Experience with JD Edwards configuration, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Ability to translate business requirements into JD Edwards solutions
- Proficiency with JD Edwards reporting tools such as OneView Financial Statements and/or third-party tools like Hubble or Business Intelligence
- Strong understanding of JD Edwards table structures, data integrations, and business processes
- Experience participating in implementation and upgrade projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with business users and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively and manage multiple priorities effectively
