Looking for Vertex O Series Consultant for Remote

Overview

A client is seeking a Vertex O Series Consultant with a minimum of 7 years of experience to work remotely within the EST time zone on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of the Vertex application across EU, AMEA, Canada, and LATAM regions
• Configure tax payers, taxability drivers, tax categories, commodity codes, tax assist rules, lookup tables, tax codes, exemptions, and jurisdiction mappings
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather tax requirements
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT)

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Vertex O Series configuration and integration
• Deep understanding of VAT, GST, and global tax compliance requirements
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA FI, P2P, and OTC modules from the perspective of tax calculation
• Strong knowledge of the Vertex Accelerator integration tool
• Familiarity with multiple tax regions including EU, AMEA, Canada, and LATAM
• Mandatory skills: Taxation & Reporting, Withholding Tax, Input/Output Taxes

Soft Skills

• Effective communication and client interaction skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
