Overview

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fact-based investigations to test the validity of allegations using proven investigative methods and current technology.
  • Create and manage materials supporting Expert Witnesses, including drafting Expert Reports.
  • Perform technology-enabled data analysis to identify anomalies, relationships, or trends using analytics and visualization platforms.
  • Conduct business valuations and utilize relevant software tools for research and data analysis.
  • Communicate results and explain work products to partners and clients.
  • Manage some client interactions.
  • Participate in business development activities and attend networking events.
  • Deliver training and support the development of colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CPA, CFE, Forensic Accountant, or in a similar role.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Forensic Consulting or similar financial consulting roles focused on:
    • Analyzing and calculating damages in commercial disputes.
    • Insurance claims services.
    • Analyzing delays, disruptions, and cost overruns due to unforeseen events.
    • Forensic and investigation services.
  • Experience providing litigation support and contributing to expert report writing.
  • Strong technical background in data analysis and data modeling; experience with SQL preferred but not required.
