OneStream Solution Architect

Overview

This role is for an experienced OneStream Solution Architect to join the organization’s OneStream practice within its digital solutions team. The position involves leading and delivering consulting services that support financial close and consolidation, budgeting and forecasting, and business intelligence solutions for clients.

The work includes leading discovery through deployment, guiding solution design and architecture reviews, ensuring solution quality through testing, and partnering with client and internal leadership to manage engagement delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery, requirements, design, build, test, and deployment of OneStream solutions using application expertise, business knowledge, and technical skills.
• Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and develop OneStream client design documentation.
• Design an infrastructure framework within the OneStream financial application, accounting for scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and demonstrate OneStream proof of concepts as needed to optimize performance.
• Guide technical solution development and deployment, and facilitate OneStream solution and architecture reviews to ensure cross-division alignment.
• Oversee OneStream solution quality and testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with clients to develop roadmaps that communicate solution vision and initiatives across the project team.
• Identify opportunities within clients’ financial close and planning processes where OneStream can drive better business results, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Support the development and maturity of the Finance OneStream Center of Excellence (COE) technical governance framework, including standards, policies, principles, and procedures.
• Collaborate with clients to design and develop business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions.
• Interact with internal and client leadership regarding OneStream client and engagement management.
• Stay current on advancements in OneStream’s core platform, marketplace solutions, and AI capabilities.
• Support junior staff development by helping build training programs, leading training sessions, and coaching team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Experience implementing a leading financial planning and consolidation software (EPM/CPM solution)—OneStream or Oracle EPM/PBCS highly preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of technical architecture experience, with minimum three (3) years dedicated to OneStream implementations.
• Strong knowledge of the financial close and consolidation process, including account reconciliation, currency translations, intercompany eliminations, top-side entries, and financial statements.
• Deep understanding of .NET and SQL development and how to develop within the OneStream engines.
• OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) - Lead Architect certification.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, apply appropriate ethical knowledge, show a sense of urgency, and deliver quality work with timely project completion.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $100,000 to $182,400.
• Actual compensation depends on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, professional certifications, work arrangements, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
• It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
