OneStream Solution Architect

Overview

This role is for an experienced OneStream Solution Architect to join the organization’s OneStream practice within its Digital Solutions group. You will lead and deliver consulting services for OneStream Financial Close & Consolidation, Budgeting & Forecasting, and Business Intelligence solutions for clients. The position requires a thorough understanding of OneStream’s financial engine and consolidation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery, requirements, design, build, test, and deployment of OneStream solutions for clients using application expertise, business knowledge, and technical skills.
• Run client workshops to gather requirements and produce OneStream client design documentation.
• Design a comprehensive infrastructure framework within the OneStream financial application, considering scalability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Develop and demonstrate OneStream proof of concepts as required to optimize performance.
• Guide the development and deployment of technical solutions, facilitating OneStream solution and architecture reviews to support cross-division solution alignment.
• Oversee OneStream solution quality and testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with clients to create solution roadmaps, communicate initiatives across the project team, and identify opportunities to improve client financial close and planning processes using OneStream to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the development and maturity of the Finance OneStream Center of Excellence (COE) technical governance framework, including standards, policies, principles, and procedures.
• Design and build business intelligence, analytics, and reporting solutions with clients.
• Interact directly with both organizational and client leadership to support engagement and client management.
• Stay current with OneStream platform advancements, new marketplace solutions, and AI capabilities.
• Develop and coach junior staff by supporting training program development, leading training sessions, and providing mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Experience implementing a leading financial planning and consolidation software (EPM/CPM solution)—OneStream or Oracle EPM/PBCS highly preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of technical architecture experience, with minimum of three (3) years dedicated to OneStream implementations.
• Strong knowledge of the financial close and consolidation process, including account reconciliation, currency translations, intercompany eliminations, top-side entries, and financial statements.
• Deep understanding of .NET and SQL development and how to develop effectively within OneStream engines.
• OneStream Certified Professional (OCP) – Lead Architect certification.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, apply ethical knowledge, show urgency, and ensure timely project completion.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $100,000 to $182,400.
• This range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, professional certifications, work arrangements, geographic location, and business needs.
• Compensation decisions are based on the facts and circumstances of each case, and it is not typical for someone to be hired at or near the top of the range.
