Overview
A division within a global power management organization is seeking an Operations & Supply Chain Management (SCM) Finance Analyst. This role supports financial planning and analysis related to profit plans, strategic plans, forecasts, and actual results to help meet business objectives. The position partners closely with Operations and Supply Chain leadership to drive savings, growth, and maximize cash flow. This role can be performed remotely.
Responsibilities
- Analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers, and evaluate impacts on planned objectives and productivity
- Serve as a financial business partner to Operations and Supply Chain leadership
- Support key stakeholders in identifying and driving cost-saving opportunities
- Provide insights and guidance on economics, inventory performance, capital spending, and other key operational metrics
- Support operational initiatives and collaborate with business leaders on special analyses and projects
- Apply a digital mindset to improve processes and support key initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive professional experience in finance or accounting roles
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or CPA certification
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with internal and/or external audits
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle Financials, Oracle Planning, Vista, MAPICS, AS400, SAP, or Power BI
Additional Criteria
- Experience with SOX financial controls, forecast planning, and forecasting
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strategic thinking ability and capacity to see the big picture in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicating effectively across multiple organizational levels and functions
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $86,000 - $126,000 (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations)
