Overview
This role involves providing functional production support and configuration for Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle R12 systems, focusing on finance and operations processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Projects, Costing, and General Ledger. The position supports the company’s technology infrastructure by ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to enhance process efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional production support across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Projects, Costing, and General Ledger streams on Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle R12.
- Configure and support Oracle Cloud modules including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Projects, Costing, Fusion Tax, and Expenses, along with R12 equivalents.
- Analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and configure Oracle Cloud/R12 solutions aligned with finance and operations processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests within agreed SLAs, performing root-cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
- Write and optimize SQL queries against Oracle database tables for data extraction, validation, defect triage, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Support Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and R12 patching by assessing functional impact, executing regression testing, and coordinating sign-offs.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, test scripts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user training materials.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using OTBI and BI Publisher; support data migration and integration validation using FBDI/ADFDI templates.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations involving Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, Vertex, and Coupa as applicable.
- Partner with Finance, Tax, Procurement, Projects, and IT teams to design enhancements that improve process efficiency, control, and compliance.
- Support audit and SOC control activities, ensuring configuration changes and access reviews are properly documented.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting or implementing Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Cloud Financials.
- Hands-on experience with Order-to-Cash (O2C) and/or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Proficiency with Oracle Cloud reporting tools: OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, and/or ADFDI.
- Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
- Experience configuring AR, AP, GL, Projects, Costing, and Fusion Tax modules.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and EDI processing.
- Experience with Vertex and/or Coupa is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working independently in Agile or iterative delivery environments with SLA-driven support.
- Self-motivated, professional, and quality-focused with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Continuous learner who actively explores AI tools and stays current on emerging technologies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary range: $77,200 to $96,500 annually. Actual salary depends on factors such as shift, location, experience, skills, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs.
- Some positions may be eligible for variable incentive compensation such as bonuses or commissions, not included in the base pay.
