Overview
This role involves joining a Core Payments Operations team to manage high-volume, data-intensive payment processes. The position requires collaboration across multiple internal departments to ensure successful payment processing and timely resolution of issues.
Responsibilities
- Process large volumes of payment files and perform detailed user account reconciliations with high accuracy
- Analyze data from various internal and external sources to troubleshoot and resolve payment processing issues
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, client success, support, and customer solutions teams
- Identify, investigate, and resolve payment and product issues using available systems and tools; escalate when necessary
- Examine unique user cases to identify friction points and provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements
- Suggest enhancements to standard operating procedures to improve departmental efficiency
- Support ad hoc projects and operational tasks for the payments team
- Maintain adherence to departmental standards for accuracy, efficiency, and service level agreements (SLAs)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Payments, Financial Operations, or Banking
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- Strong Excel, project management, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to adapt and perform well in a fast-paced team environment
- Clear and concise communication skills, capable of explaining technical payment issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $68,000 - $98,000

Location
The position is based in New York City with operations throughout the United States and Belfast.
