Overview
This entry-level position involves processing daily transactions such as contributions, distributions, and loans while meeting performance standards and service objectives. No prior pension experience is required as training will be provided. This role is suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing a career in retirement plan administration.
Responsibilities
- Administer deposit (contribution) transactions
- Process distributions and loans
- Assist with projects as needed and participate in process improvement initiatives
- Pursue continuing education through seminars and industry certifications
- Communicate effectively within the team and across the organization
Requirements
- Excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
- Strong working knowledge of accounting or finance, including trust and payroll
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle a large volume of work in a team environment
- Proficient PC skills, including working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and vendor systems
Preferred Experience
- 0-2+ years of experience in annual administration of qualified DC/401(k) plans (not required)
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit, talk, listen, and respond
- Frequently required to walk and use fingers, tools, and various controls
- Occasionally required to stand and reach with arms and hands
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and depth perception
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds or more (e.g., files, papers, equipment)

Work Environment
- Generally quiet with frequent interruptions
- Continuous interaction with staff and/or clients
