Overview

A leader in the Technical Services sector is seeking a Pricing Analyst Staff Principal to support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives. This role will enhance business visibility and decision-making by partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Technical Services environment.

Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)

Compensation: $129,300 – $215,900 annually

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a pricing expert collaborating with senior management and capture teams for federal proposals
  • Conduct competitive analysis and Price to Win activities for strategic pursuits
  • Develop Excel cost models and pricing narratives for various contract types
  • Prepare and present pricing summaries and financial analyses to senior management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain cost inputs for competitive pricing solutions
  • Manage timely development of multiple opportunities and adapt to changing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with estimating systems, accounting procedures, and Government regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 12-15 years of Government contracting pricing experience, including leading federal proposals
  • Broad understanding of the federal services marketplace and competitive landscape
  • Experience evaluating proposal risks in cost estimates and financial management
  • Demonstrated experience in competitive analysis and Price to Win (PTW) assessments for strategic opportunities
  • Ability to advise on federal contracting regulations and proposal financials
  • Extensive experience structuring competitive pricing for various federal contract types

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pricing tools/solutions for proposal analysis
  • Experience with data center pricing software and cloud solutions pricing
  • Familiarity with financial modeling software such as IBM Planning Analytics or Adaptive Insights
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Microsoft Project or JIRA
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
