Overview

This senior individual contributor role is accountable for analytical work that answers top-line business questions—how commercial volume grows, what drives it, and how it turns into revenue. Commercial leaders and product leadership bring questions to you when they need actionable answers.

The work is strategy and analytics for the top line, supported by AI agents that produce drafts while you apply judgment to determine what is true and what it means. This is not a reporting role, a request desk, or a people-management position.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end answers to top-line questions, including cases where commercial volume and the revenue cycle intersect. Serve as the single accountable owner and draw on the RCM Analytics Director for revenue-cycle expertise.
  • Understand the commercial and product businesses well enough to identify problems leaders are trying to solve and structure them into a clear problem statement and issue tree that distinguishes what matters from what is merely measurable.
  • Serve as a principal analytics advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer’s organization, and collaborate with product leaders on the product analytics work Enterprise Analytics takes on.
  • Establish and run an operating rhythm with commercial and product leadership by integrating into existing forums and setting mechanisms that keep analytical work focused on the right priorities, with visible trade-offs.
  • Lead analytics engagements end to end:
    • Orchestrate AI agents within a shared governance layer to build analysis
    • Apply your own standards to every intermediate result
    • Produce executive-ready materials (agents draft; you decide what is true and how it should be interpreted)
  • Drive the business to decision and monitor outcomes, maintaining execution discipline with the business while ensuring decisions are well founded and outcomes are tracked.
  • Surface what nobody asked about by escalating relevant insights when the numbers indicate top-line implications leaders need to hear.
  • Build and evolve governed definitions and methods. Partner with the Director of Data Governance and business stakeholders to develop new definitions/methods when required.
  • Contribute learnings from each engagement back to the shared repository to improve reusable analyses, methods, and instructions for analytic agents.

Requirements

  • Director-level or equivalent senior individual contributor experience (typically 10+ years) in areas such as commercial strategy, growth analytics, management consulting, or strategic finance.
  • Experience owning analysis behind decisions that moved a company’s top line.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, scientific, economics, or business field, or equivalent practical experience. MBA or an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus.
  • Hands-on expectation: you still build analysis. If you have moved fully into managing others and no longer produce analysis yourself, this role is not a fit.
  • Familiarity with business-scale problems, including sustaining unit economics in a complex reimbursement landscape, identifying where to invest field capacity, and understanding how coverage and pricing decisions drive volume and revenue.
  • Proven track record as a trusted advisor to C-level and VP leaders, including:
    • Changing decisions with evidence
    • Delivering findings leaders may not want to hear
    • Reprioritizing or declining requests through an appropriate mechanism rather than personal favor
  • Exceptional problem structuring and communication skills, including:
    • Translating ambiguous questions into problem statements and issue trees
    • Communicating insights using message-first narratives
  • Current, hands-on practice using AI tools and agents in analytical work, including understanding where agents are reliable, where checks are needed, and how to continue innovating.
  • Sufficient fluency with data to be self-sufficient, including comfort reading and validating queries produced by agents and pulling needed information without waiting on others.
  • Grounding in measurement and experimental design, including recognizing when simple comparisons can mislead and framing stronger designs for specialist build-out.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Field-performance analytics experience (e.g., targeting, territory performance, funnel and activation measurement).
  • Diagnostics or healthcare commercial experience, such as provider ordering behavior and payer coverage effects.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Transparency, Budgeted Range: $204,031—$228,814 USD.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits reflecting local market practices and legal requirements in each country where the organization operates.

Location

  • Fully remote position.
  • Work from a home office or other suitable remote location with reliable high-speed internet access.
  • Standard work schedule and hours are established in collaboration with your leader and may be adjusted to align with evolving business needs.

Physical Demands

Sedentary role requiring prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer.

  • Sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers for typing and mouse operation
  • Visual acuity for reading computer screens and documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone and video calls
