Project Finance Analyst

Overview

The organization is seeking a Project Finance Analyst to join the Clinical R&D-Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Review contract payment schedules and prepare monthly fee-for-service and pass-through invoices to send to the client for assigned projects
• Analyze contracts, including budget and hours, for appropriate setup in the financial system and creation of internal tracking worksheets
• Calculate monthly contract revenue for assigned projects
• Assist Project Managers with analyzing monthly reports to track project profitability
• Attend all project-related meetings for assigned projects
• Calculate monthly backlog for assigned projects
• Assist Project and Finance Managers and core team members with questions, concerns, and project analyses as requested
• Analyze change orders for incorporation into the original contract
• Prepare cash flow and analysis for creation of payment schedules
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum of one year related experience in an accounting or finance position within a CRO required
• Experience with a revenue recognition system
• Highly detail oriented
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills
• Computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel

Compensation & Benefits

• Annualized minimum base pay: $55,000.00 USD
• Actual salary will be influenced by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role
