Overview
This role supports regulatory compliance activities by preparing and submitting required regulatory filings on monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules. The position also assists with related compliance work, including coordination of responses to data requests, regulatory agency inquiries, and maintenance of regulatory reports, logs, and tracking databases.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurately file state and federal regulatory reports for Uniti and related legal entities.
- Assist with coordination of responses to data requests and related regulatory items.
- Seek approvals as needed.
- Support commission inquiries and preparation of various ILEC/CLEC/IXC reports.
- Assist with AP coordination and state US payment processing and maintenance of regulatory reports, logs, and databases.
- Assist with ad hoc projects that arise during the year.
- Proactively and professionally communicate with internal teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage regulatory audits.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with concentration in telecommunications or accounting preferred.
- 0–1 year of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or financial reporting role.
- Accounting and financial analysis skills.
- Accounts payable experience desired.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with concentration in telecommunications or accounting.
- Accounts Payable experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting compensation range: $50,000 to $74,500.
- Actual base pay will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.
