Overview
A top national professional services firm specializing in assurance, tax, and consulting solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their rapidly growing Outsourced Accounting group. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead client accounting engagements and contribute to a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes for a portfolio of clients
- Review and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely execution
- Oversee monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with payroll, sales, and use tax reporting requirements
- Administer and maintain charts of accounts and cloud-based accounting platforms
- Design and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial integrity
- Deliver complete and accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Create financial analyses, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational reporting for clients
- Prepare budgets and forecasts and maintain them within financial systems
Requirements
- Experience in leading accounting operations and month-end close
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting tools
- Strong knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting
- Ability to coach and develop junior team members
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
