Overview
A rapidly growing fintech company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The organization operates a global digital-asset and payments platform, supporting stablecoins and other digital assets across multiple international entities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a hypergrowth environment with a focus on building a strong, scalable financial foundation.
Responsibilities
- Drive process improvements and automation by collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to enhance reporting quality
- Execute month-end close activities, including variance analysis and reconciliations across balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of the digital asset ledger across multiple entities
- Build scalable reconciliation frameworks to support month-end close, external audits, and regulatory requirements
- Develop repeatable processes and checklists to support operational growth and scale
- Ensure proper reconciliation and consolidation of intercompany accounts
- Perform monthly revaluation and translation for international subsidiaries
- Analyze revenue contracts to ensure compliance with ASC 606 accounting standards
- Ensure invoices are accurate and billed to customers in a timely manner
- Provide support for special projects, system implementations, and acquisition integrations
Requirements
- 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Proven ability to improve processes, drive automation, and enhance operational efficiency
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
- Experience working with large datasets and complex reconciliations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a remote-first, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar
- Exposure to fintech, payments, or crypto-native companies
- Big 4 accounting experience and/or CPA designation

- Competitive salary range from USD 50,000 to 999,000 per year plus equity
