Senior Accountant - Deltek Costpoint

Overview

A professional services organization is seeking a motivated, self-starting accounting and consulting professional to assist with the implementation, training, and operation of Accounting ERP systems. The primary focus will be on the Deltek Costpoint ERP family of systems. This role offers competitive salaries, benefits, and the option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Apply core accounting principles and project cost accounting knowledge, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing, Bank Reconciliations, Financial Statement Reconciliations, Payroll, and Expense and Time Collection Tracking
• Provide training to clients via phone, web, or in-person
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while delivering quality services
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Deliver excellent customer service and client management, interfacing with business owners and C-Level executives
• Support customers across different time zones with flexible hours in a remote work setting
• Maintain strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Utilize Microsoft Office suite proficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
• Up to seven years of experience in financial consulting or accounting
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP system is required

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification is desired or candidates actively pursuing CPA certification
