Overview

A business unit specializing in life sciences and healthcare is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Rohnert Park, CA. This role supports commercial finance activities by partnering with product management and other internal teams to drive profitable growth and financial efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product line analysis in collaboration with Operations Finance, Engineering, and Product Managers to identify efficiency opportunities and assess impacts of changing business conditions
  • Serve as a business partner and liaison to Product Management Leadership, providing financial advice and guidance to meet profitability targets
  • Collaborate with the broader team to deploy standard analytical tools and reporting for effective business management
  • Support Life Cycle Innovation and New Product Innovation teams with financial analysis for business case justification and strategic investments
  • Assist Product Management with annual pricing processes and price analytics
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, and reporting activities as needed
  • Lead or participate in special projects and assignments
  • Work with the broader Finance team across the business unit to streamline reporting and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline
  • Minimum of three (3) years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems required; JD Edwards preferred
  • Expert skills in Excel and SAP Web Intelligence; high proficiency in OneStream and other Microsoft Office applications; Power BI preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
  • Self-motivated and able to identify needs and implement solutions with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of fundamental financial concepts, practices, and procedures

ITAR/EAR Criteria

Certain positions require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Compensation & Benefits

  • Anticipated hiring range: $85,000 - $95,000, varying based on experience and qualifications
  • Total compensation range: $97,000 - $145,400, depending on experience
  • Eligibility for performance-based bonus plan
