Overview
The Senior Finance Operational Analyst supports Supply Chain capital investment decisions by developing advanced financial models such as incremental EBITDA analyses, NPV/IRR/payback calculations, and detailed Discounted Cash Flow valuations. This role leads the preparation of monthly CapEx forecasts by business function and supports ongoing capital allocation needs with accuracy and insight.
This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to senior business leaders. The role also provides financial support for key operational processes including annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and month-end closing.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial analyses including cash flow models, business cases, scenario analyses, incremental EBITDA impact, and ROI evaluations to support CapEx investment decisions and growth opportunities.
- Lead monthly CapEx forecast preparation and reporting by business function, ensuring accuracy and alignment with enterprise-wide capital allocation priorities.
- Support annual budgeting, weekly and monthly forecasting, and month-end activities for National Operations teams' overhead and strategic operating budget initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting, including project KPI tracking and performance updates.
- Prepare and review timely financial and business-related analyses, research, and forecasts.
- Perform advanced trend and variance analyses, synthesizing data from multiple sources and incorporating cross-functional impacts and industry trends.
- Provide insights into business performance and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Conduct financial evaluation research and analysis using data from internal and external sources.
- Present research and analysis results to management.
- Provide key support for annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, including variance analysis and sensitivity testing.
- Lead critical planning and analysis processes.
- Develop and own complex short-term (1 year) and support long-term (3–5 year) forecasting models based on multi-function business activity inputs.
- Lead process improvements and strategic initiatives within functional areas.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
- Articulate the impact of analysis, modeling, and business decision support on key financial measures such as Gross Profit, Operating Margin, and Free Cash Flow.
- Conceptualize, develop, and present business cases to financial and business leadership.
- Act as an internal consultant interacting with management at all levels.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
Requirements
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of FP&A experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle and financial reporting/planning tools is a plus.
- Strong strategic planning, financial, and operational/business background.
- Financial modeling experience.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
- Proven success in complex financial analysis.

Work Environment
- This is a remote position where the associate will perform work from their primary residence.
- Remote associates may work from the office but are not required to do so.
- Occasional travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations may be required.
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- The role involves prolonged sitting, use of hands for typing and handling office equipment, and occasional stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching.
