Overview
This role is a Senior Financial Accountant position focused on general accounting responsibilities, with primary focus on expense and balance sheet accounts. Work is expected to comply with internal controls and ensure accuracy and logical consistency across assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly and quarterly close-related activities, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Support management of lease accounting schedules in compliance with ASC 842, including routine expirations, renewals, and period-end adjustments.
- Maintain and update corporate debt schedules for various debt instruments and credit facilities, including tracking interest accruals and fee calculations as assigned.
- Oversee or support the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization reviews, depreciation tracking, roll-forwards, and retirement processing in accordance with corporate policy.
- Prepare disclosure schedules for quarterly and annual financial filings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal to streamline financial workflows and address operational challenges.
- Participate in departmental projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP.
- 1+ years of Cloud-based accounting software experience (Oracle Fusion is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including experience using VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Deep understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles under US GAAP.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills.
- Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly articulate financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- BA or BS in accounting or related discipline required.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA preferred.
- Big 4 experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $115,000 - $125,000 annually.
- Total compensation package is negotiable and may include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages, and benefits.

- Fully remote within the U.S. (Los Angeles or Las Vegas preferred.)
- Travel requirements: Up to 10%.
