Overview

A growing organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide actionable insights that support global expansion efforts. This remote role requires significant overlap with Eastern and Pacific time zones. The position focuses on analyzing business performance to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities that drive financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with financial and business stakeholders to deliver data and insights supporting business strategies, spending initiatives, ad hoc financial analysis, and planning cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Develop and maintain financial models aligned with the product roadmap and evaluate outcomes delivered by R&D teams.
  • Participate in annual planning, long-term planning, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis (including headcount, hosting, and AI costs).
  • Produce KPI reporting and analyze root cause trends; prepare insights for variance and key meetings.
  • Manage small projects aimed at improving data-driven insights or increasing company efficiency.
  • Communicate findings to FP&A management, functional managers, and directors.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with:
    • Accounting team on variance analysis.
    • Finance team on monthly finance deck preparation.
    • Operations team to provide unit economics analysis.
    • Department leaders on forecast updates based on prior month results.
  • Provide monthly analysis of SaaS metrics and peer benchmarking.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance, with at least 2 years in FP&A within a SaaS company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, economics, business, or related field.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Planning) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Strong passion for enabling informed decision-making through ROI-driven storytelling with numbers.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex financial concepts to leaders across the organization.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills capable of manipulating large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $107,944 - $134,930 annually.
  • Additional bonus and benefits.
  • Compensation will be determined based on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
