Overview
A leading organization in the Consumer Technology sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Retailer partnerships. This role focuses on enhancing financial discipline related to P&L visibility, margin improvement, and overall business performance. The position involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve planning processes, financial controls, and resource allocation within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $127,000 – $160,500 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive financial models for retailer partnerships, including pricing, incentives, and ROI analyses
- Collaborate with Retail Partnerships and Deal Desk teams to translate strategic plans into financial outcomes and support contract negotiations
- Create and maintain forecasts for retailer deals and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve margin and payback
- Design standardized templates and dashboards to streamline diligence and post-closure performance management
- Prepare executive-level presentations that distill complex financial analyses for high-level decision-making
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial policies and operational feasibility
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Management Consulting with a focus on commercial deals or growth in technology, e-commerce, or retail sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field
- Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel or Google Sheets, including driver-based models and scenario analysis
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Experience evaluating or structuring commercial partnerships and presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with Python, ASC 606 accounting standards, CFA, MBA, CPA credentials
- Expertise in financial modeling tools, data visualization platforms, financial database management systems, and dashboard/reporting technologies
