Overview
A leading organization in the Consumer Technology sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in Retailer partnerships. This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives to enhance business visibility and decision-making. The position involves partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. It offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and develop scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation: $126,000 – $133,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Own financial modeling for retailer partnerships, focusing on pricing strategies and ROI analyses
- Translate strategic objectives into financial outcomes and support negotiations with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain forecasts for retailer deals, tracking performance against key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Design scalable templates and dashboards for performance management
- Prepare executive-ready materials that distill complex analyses into clear narratives
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure feasibility and accurate financial treatment
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Strategic Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Management Consulting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field
- Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel or Google Sheets
- Proficiency in SQL for self-service analysis and experience with business intelligence (BI) tools
- Demonstrated experience evaluating or structuring commercial partnerships or contracts
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Advanced financial modeling expertise in Excel/Google Sheets
- Proficiency with SQL and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
- Experience with marketplace or retailer/CPG partnerships
- Familiarity with revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606)
- Experience building dashboards and automating workflows using SQL or Python
- Professional certifications such as MBA, CFA, or CPA
- Knowledge of data analysis frameworks and financial forecasting methodologies
- Experience with contract management and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams)
- Strong presentation skills using software like PowerPoint
