Overview

This role involves collecting, interpreting, and identifying trends in financial data. The position includes developing standard and ad hoc data reports used for quality reporting, performance improvement activities, and other operational reporting, while meeting organizational mission goals and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Examine historical and projected financial data to support relevant financial decision-making.
  • Perform financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports.
  • Assist with imports or exports of data.
  • Perform periodic audits of data sources.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Track KPIs and prepare financial reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare trends and operations.
  • Understand key business drivers.
  • Assist other teams and participate in assigned projects as a financial support resource.
  • When applicable, manage financial relationships with vendors, including:
    • Financial reclassifications and adjustments to the financial baseline due to approved contract changes
    • Resolution of questions regarding Workday cost centers
    • Review and management of directly paid expenses to support streamlined invoicing processes
    • Monthly invoice reviews
    • Validation of savings achieved by approved gain share eligible initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and other regulations.
  • Assist clients with financial guidance.
  • Develop financial projections and build financial models.
  • Conduct research and analysis as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (required)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Range: $35.82 (minimum) to $55.52 (maximum)
