Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and identifying trends in financial and operational data. This role develops standard and ad hoc data reports used in quality reporting, performance improvement activities, and other operational reporting, while meeting mission and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Examine historical and projected financial data to inform relevant financial decisions.
  • Perform financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports.
  • Support data imports or exports as needed.
  • Perform periodic audits of data sources.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Track KPIs and prepare financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and monthly close processes.
  • Understand and analyze key business drivers.
  • Research and perform analysis as required.
  • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare trends and operations.
  • Provide financial support to other teams and participate in assigned projects.
  • When applicable, manage financial relationships with vendors, including:
    • Financial reclassifications and adjustments to the financial baseline due to approved contract changes
    • Resolving questions regarding Workday cost centers
    • Reviewing and managing directly paid expenses to streamline invoicing processes
    • Monthly invoice reviews
    • Validating savings achieved by approved gain share eligible initiatives
  • Assist clients with financial guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and other regulations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or a combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)

Requirements

  • 3+ year of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (required)
  • Experience with both capital and operating expense management (preferred)
  • Healthcare experience (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range

  • Minimum: $35.82
  • Maximum: $55.52
