Overview
This role supports the finance and accounting function for Roc Nation (a segment of the organization). The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst partners with Finance and business leaders to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end close process, including variance analysis and monthly reporting.
- Contribute to the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
- Manage spend tracking, reporting, and analytics, including contract monitoring, category-level spend, and margin summaries.
- Support recurring operational reporting across pacing, cost tracking, royalty reconciliation, and event-level analytics.
- Identify data points that are reliable indicators of future performance by exploring sources, challenging assumptions, clarifying financial relationships, and improving accuracy.
- Partner with business stakeholders to reflect departmental priorities into budgets and departmental realities into forecasts.
- Assess risks & opportunities and incorporate them into sensitivity analysis across short-, medium-, and long-term time horizons.
- Present forecasts and results to senior finance and business leaders.
- Develop and track KPIs to help the business meet its objectives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities to drive efficiency.
- Provide financial and operational support for Roc Nation and subsidiaries’ teams.
- Handle special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- 5+ years of related work experience with proven success in FP&A.
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong financial literacy with the ability to distill complex concepts and models into actionable plans to update routinely.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; proficient PowerPoint user with experience with BI tools (e.g., OneStream, Oracle Fusion, and SAP BPC).
- Comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven close cycles.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex financial data and models clearly to both Finance and non-Finance audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large volumes of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strategic mindset with a bias toward action and a can-do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work across disciplines, levels, and cultures and build relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Expected Compensation
- $80,000.00 USD - $100,000.00 USD
- Pay is based on factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
