Overview

This is a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst role based in the United Kingdom (Remote). Reporting to the CFO, you will own core planning and forecasting, translate data into clear insights and recommendations, and partner with leaders and teams across the business to improve decision-making and execution.

The business combines SaaS and prepaid customer wallets with a global gift marketplace, branded merchandise, and international fulfilment—creating complex planning and analysis across recurring and transactional revenue, margins, cash and wallet dynamics, and multiple entities and currencies. You will work with NetSuite, Salesforce, DealHub, and reporting tools, with an emphasis on automation and AI to build an FP&A function that is efficient and closely connected to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the consolidated operating model and rolling P&L and cash forecasts across entities and revenue streams, including customer wallet balances.
  • Own the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process, including analysis of performance, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with leaders and budget holders to understand performance, challenge assumptions, solve problems, and drive work through completion.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting and board and investor materials, converting financial and operational data into insights and recommendations.
  • Analyse unit economics and margins by revenue stream to support pricing, deal, investment, and other commercial decisions.
  • Define and maintain consistent definitions for key business metrics (including ARR, retention, and margin by revenue stream) and ensure they reconcile to reported financials each month.
  • Calculate sales commissions and support the design and review of commission plans.
  • Provide transaction analysis to support tax decisions, including VAT registrations and disclosures, and US sales tax thresholds.
  • Maintain accurate dashboards and self-service performance reporting for budget holders and leadership, partnering with the business systems team on data and integrations.
  • Improve and automate forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis using AI and other tools to increase the speed and quality of Finance work.

Requirements

  • Typically 2–5 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility in FP&A, corporate finance, audit, transaction services, or another highly analytical finance role.
  • Excellent financial modelling skills, including driver-based forecasting and experience building or working with integrated financial models.
  • Strong business judgement and curiosity, with the ability to translate analysis into clear implications, recommendations, and action.
  • Proven ability to take ownership, work effectively across teams, build credibility with non-finance colleagues, and drive work through completion.
  • Strong accounting foundation, including the ability to connect operational metrics, forecasts, and financial results back to the general ledger.
  • Skilled working with data across multiple systems; ERP and CRM experience is valuable, with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred.
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI and automation tools, with a track record of using them to improve the speed and quality of Finance work.
  • Clear, concise communicator able to explain complex analysis to non-finance audiences and produce high-quality materials for senior leaders and the board.
  • Proactive and highly organised, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving international business where priorities may change quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS metrics such as ARR, retention, and cohort analysis.
  • Experience with marketplace, physical goods, prepaid, or payments business models.
  • Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency planning across the UK, US, or Europe.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Looker, or similar data and reporting tools.
  • Exposure to sales commissions, indirect tax, or other transaction-level financial analysis.
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary with generous stock options.
  • Pension with employer contributions (NEST).
  • Affordable Private Medical Insurance, including mental health support and fast access to care.
  • Flexible PTO that increases the longer you’re with us, plus extra flexibility for life’s unexpected moments.
