  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in sales compensation, GTM finance, or GTM operations at a SaaS or high-growth software company
  • Proven senior-level ownership of a commission function, including plan administration, quota crediting, payout, and audit (ability to step in without a long ramp)
  • Experience administering an ICM platform
  • Experience using Everstage is a plus
  • Experience using both spreadsheets and more than one ICM tool is highly valued
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets and modeling skills
  • Solid grasp of databases and data techniques
  • Experience with Salesforce and other SaaS tools used in the compensation workflow (Rippling is mentioned)
  • Experience handling and resolving customer-facing questions and disputes (not only building models behind the scenes)

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy handling high-stakes calculations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to explain complex payout concepts in plain language to reps and sales leaders
  • Treats compensation work like a small business—has opinions, can make a case, and builds scalable processes
  • Demonstrated ability to implement controls/processes that catch real payout errors
  • Experience building or sharing AI-assisted workflows (e.g., automated reconciliation checks or plan-document Q&A) that saved team time
  • Python, R, or SQL experience
