Overview
This position is responsible for the preparation and filing of various quarterly and annual corporate income tax returns and reports. The role also involves responding to inquiries from taxing authorities and assisting the Senior Income Tax Manager and Income Tax Manager with tax examinations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file quarterly tax estimates for all states
- Prepare corporate income tax returns for assigned subsidiaries along with supporting workpapers
- Assist Income Tax Managers with income tax audits
- Analyze all tax accounts
- Respond to correspondence from taxing authorities
- Calculate quarterly effective tax rates
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting and/or private industry
- Skilled in SAP and Thomson Reuters OneSource
- Ability to utilize online research tools such as CCH
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related programs
- Experience preparing tax returns and calculating tax provisions
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting required
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Taxation highly desirable
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- Team-oriented with ability to initiate action

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $92,000 depending on experience

Location
Position is based in Valhalla, New York, with access to nearby New York City.
