Overview

A financial services organization is seeking a Senior Manager to join their Strategic Finance team supporting the growth of the Consumer business, which includes a consumer credit card, app, marketplace, and other consumer-facing features. This role will partner with key stakeholders to influence revenue, unit economics, and user growth within one of the company’s highest-priority investment areas.

The Strategic Finance team plays a central role in shaping company strategy, enabling executive decision-making, and driving performance against key objectives. This position is part of the Revenue Finance group, a lean, high-impact team with significant cross-functional ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing teams, influencing product strategy, investment decisions, and go-to-market execution
  • Own and evolve user growth, engagement, and monetization models for direct-to-consumer channels; translate insights into actionable strategies and business recommendations
  • Develop expertise in transactional unit economics and customer lifetime value (LTV) to guide prioritization and resource allocation
  • Lead top-line planning processes including target setting, forecasting, and performance tracking; deliver clear, concise reporting and insights to executives and senior leadership
  • Build and scale automated dashboards, reporting, and analytical frameworks to improve visibility and decision-making across the organization
  • Identify key drivers of performance, surface risks and opportunities, and drive accountability against business goals
  • Synthesize complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives that inform strategic decisions and align cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in analytical roles such as strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, or analytics, with demonstrated impact on business outcomes and forecasting
  • Proven ability to operate with ownership and influence in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Player–coach mindset with ability to dive into complex analyses while leading and developing a team of analysts
  • Strong business judgment connecting detailed analyses to broader strategic context and executive-level decisions
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in financial modeling
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma or similar) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with consumer finance and/or direct-to-consumer business models and metrics
  • Experience leveraging AI-driven tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to enhance analytical workflows and insight generation
  • Prior experience leading small high-performing teams

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Grade: O
  • Equity Grade: 10
  • Base pay range for U.S. employees:
    • California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut: $220,000 - $280,000 per year
    • All other U.S. states: $195,000 - $255,000 per year

Location

This is a remote-first role within the United States. Employees can work almost anywhere within their country of employment. Some roles may require occasional work from an assigned office depending on job responsibilities.
