Senior Research Analyst

Overview

This organization is seeking a Senior Research Analyst for a full-time remote role. The position leads end-to-end research initiatives that inform products, services, and client strategies. Work includes designing research frameworks, sourcing and analyzing data (qualitative and quantitative), and turning findings into clear reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.

The role also involves mentoring junior team members, improving research methodologies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure research outputs align with business goals. Strong autonomy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research initiatives that support products, services, and client strategies
• Design research frameworks and identify relevant data sources
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Synthesize complex findings into clear reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Communicate insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients
• Mentor junior team members
• Contribute to methodology improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research outputs with business goals
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while working remotely
• Handle confidential information and maintain objective, evidence-based analysis

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Research Analyst in cryptocurrency, blockchain, Web3, fintech, or digital assets
• Strong understanding of crypto markets, tokenomics, DeFi, stablecoins, NFTs, and blockchain infrastructure
• Experience conducting fundamental, technical, on-chain, and market research
• Proficiency with on-chain analytics tools such as Dune, Nansen, Glassnode, Arkham, or similar platforms
• Ability to analyze token supply, liquidity, trading volume, wallet activity, protocol usage, and network metrics
• Experience evaluating crypto projects, protocols, exchanges, investment opportunities, and market trends
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation methods, risk assessment, and scenario analysis
• Ability to interpret blockchain data, whitepapers, governance proposals, financial statements, and technical documentation
• Excellent research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills
• Ability to produce clear investment reports, market updates, and actionable recommendations
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is preferred
