Overview
A global technology organization is seeking an experienced Revenue Accountant to join their Global Accounting & Reporting team. This team is responsible for ensuring financial integrity across all global entities by maintaining accurate accounting and leveraging modern automation and AI-driven workflows.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries as assigned
- Conduct monthly variance analysis for month-end close meetings, including P&L and balance sheet analysis
- Lead deep-dive P&L and balance sheet trend analysis using AI tools
- Design and implement AI-driven efficiencies in journal entry and reconciliation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
- Maintain 100% controllership integrity
- Ensure compliance with finance policies and guidelines during reviews and audits
- Support finance and controllership process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
- Assist Accounting Leaders with ad hoc reporting and special projects
- Utilize AI tools to streamline audit documentation and evidence gathering
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and similar functions
- Ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately and timely
- Public accounting or auditing experience is a plus
- Experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot) to automate tasks and enhance financial analysis
- Experience with Oracle Financials is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $72,750 to $151,250 per year, varying based on location, skills, and experience
- Potential for discretionary annual bonus or commissions
