Overview

A leading online platform dedicated to facilitating charitable giving is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant. The platform connects individuals and nonprofits to simplify, secure, and expand fundraising efforts. Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including revenue journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses.
  • Lead the design and automation of transactional revenue accounting processes across a global payments infrastructure.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for monthly and quarterly revenue financial reports.
  • Analyze payment processor interchange pricing models and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Monitor and reconcile multi-currency payment flows, ensuring transaction-level accuracy.
  • Support the development of standard operating procedures related to revenue recognition.
  • Assist with audit preparation by providing supporting workpapers and schedules.
  • Contribute to new system implementations and integrations focused on payment and transaction processing.
  • Develop and implement controls over transactional data used for revenue reporting.
  • Review revenue-related contracts for compliance with revenue policies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects across teams.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of public accounting experience; fintech or payments industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Experience researching and communicating technical accounting matters.
  • Advanced Excel skills capable of handling large datasets.
  • Experience with databases and SQL or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in a global transaction environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual U.S. salary range: $91,500 to $137,500 (full-time).
