Overview
A leading AI-powered customer success platform is seeking a Senior Revenue Analytics Lead to join their Sales team. This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations. The role focuses on building AI-enabled, self-service analytics to support smarter decision-making across bookings, pipeline, renewals, gross revenue retention (GRR), and customer lifecycle performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analytics center of excellence for the go-to-market (GTM) organization, initially focusing on Sales and Customer Success.
- Establish standards for dashboard design, metric definitions, data governance, and insight delivery.
- Ensure the accuracy and trustworthiness of all GTM reporting for leadership.
- Mentor peer analysts on technical skills and business acumen.
- Own end-to-end analytics across bookings, pipeline health, forecasting, GRR, net revenue retention (NRR), renewals, and customer expansion.
- Collaborate with GTM Planning on planning models supporting annual operating plans (AOP), quota setting, capacity planning, and scenario analysis.
- Deliver executive-ready dashboards and regular operating cadence reports for Sales and Customer Success leadership.
- Partner with Finance on bookings-to-revenue reconciliation and board-level reporting.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, moving from reactive to anticipatory analytics.
- Lead the transformation from static BI dashboards to AI-enabled, self-service data exploration.
- Work with the GTM Data Architect to define business metrics enabling reliable AI querying.
- Design and deploy AI-powered analytical workflows including natural language querying, anomaly detection, and proactive insight surfacing.
- Enable Sales and Customer Success leaders to independently query data.
- Stay current on AI analytics tools and recommend improvements.
- Serve as a trusted analytical partner to Sales VPs, Customer Success leadership, and Revenue Operations.
- Translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Support strategic planning processes including territory design, AOP, and rules of engagement.
- Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, or company events.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in GTM analytics, Revenue Operations analytics, or BI roles supporting Sales or Customer Success at a B2B SaaS company.
- Deep understanding of the full SaaS revenue lifecycle including bookings, pipeline, ARR, GRR, NRR, renewals, and customer health.
- Hands-on experience owning and governing a BI environment, including building, maintaining, and improving dashboards.
- Strong experience with modern BI tools; Sigma Computing highly preferred, but Looker, Tableau, or similar accepted.
- Experience with cloud data warehouse environments such as Snowflake (preferred), BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Proven ability to define and govern business-critical metrics and translate business logic into reliable data structures.
- Active use of AI tools to enhance analytics workflows.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to and challenging senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with customer success platforms, including understanding health scores and renewal workflows.
- Familiarity with dbt or SQL-based data modeling.
- Experience in private equity-backed or board-reporting environments.
- Exposure to configure-price-quote (CPQ) workflows and subscription data.
- Experience with sales technology vendors such as Gong.io, SalesLoft, Clari, or similar.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $105,000 – $115,000 USD annually, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, and location.
