Overview

A Top 100 accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Remote Senior Tax Manager or Tax Director due to significant growth. This role combines technical tax work, client advisory services, team leadership, and practice development. The position involves working directly with business owners and decision-makers while mentoring the next generation of tax professionals.

Compensation

• Base salary range: $150,000 - $260,000+
• Bonus opportunities available

Responsibilities

• Review complex business and individual tax returns
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and build long-term relationships
• Mentor, develop, and review the work of tax staff and managers
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and provide additional value through advisory services
• Collaborate with firm leadership on practice growth initiatives and strategic planning

Requirements

• CPA or EA certification
• Minimum of 7 years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience managing client relationships and reviewing tax returns
• Leadership or people management experience preferred
