Overview
A technology-focused organization is seeking an experienced Workday Financials professional to provide hands-on configuration and production support. This role involves working independently across multiple functional areas, troubleshooting defects, resolving production issues, and designing scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on configuration and production support across Workday Financials
- Operate independently across multiple functional areas based on business priorities
- Troubleshoot defects and resolve production issues efficiently
- Design and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions rather than short-term fixes
- Translate business requirements into effective system solutions
- Contribute to platform enhancements, optimizations, and process improvements
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience
- Strong end-to-end understanding of Workday financial processes
- Proven ability to balance production support with project-based work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, lean team environment
- Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking mindset
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Financial Accounting (highest priority)
- Expenses
- Business Assets
- Banking & Settlement (secondary priority)
- Procurement (lower priority, deemphasized/phasing out)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Accounting Center and/or Prism
- Familiarity with Workday integrations and reporting
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives
- Exposure to Workday Orchestrations or automation frameworks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
- Experience with VNDLY (nice to have, not required)

- Reduces backlog and improves responsiveness for Finance stakeholders
- Delivers clean, scalable, long-term platform solutions
