Sr. Accountant

Overview

This role owns day-to-day accounts payable operations and supports key monthly close activities, including invoicing and revenue recognition. Responsibilities also include reconciliations, subsidiary accounting coordination, ERP maintenance, and participation in the annual financial audit and corporate tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Own AP day-to-day operations
• Audit and approve Expensify reports
• Play a key role in month-end close, including:
  • Customer invoicing
  • Revenue recognition
  • Prepaids and accruals
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Coordinate on subsidiary accounting
• Participate in the annual financial audit and corporate tax filing
• Maintain ERP systems
• Support ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

• BS or above degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA required
• 5+ years in accounting, with experience working at both an audit firm and a technology company
• Excellent skills using NetSuite
• Familiar with Expensify, or similar platforms
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
• High standard of work ethics
