Overview

This role supports Accounts Payable (AP) operations within Finance & Accounting. Responsibilities include invoice review and validation, timely payment release, issue resolution, compliance adherence, and daily internal audit activities.

Responsibilities

Review and process invoices and provide resolutions for invoice-related issues.
Review and validate basic elements of a valid invoice, including supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, and invoice date.
Release invoices for payment timely and accurately.
Ensure that each pay run is completed as agreed with the customer.
Follow up on requisitions (via calls/emails or tickets) to resolve invoice issues in accordance with AP guidelines.
Identify opportunities to reduce helpdesk queries and support process improvements.
Adhere to internal compliance policies and operational guidelines established by management.
Perform daily internal audit to ensure all invoices and queries are handled according to guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Accounting; Commerce; Economics; Finance.
Advanced proficiency in German (C1).

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance.
