Overview

A financial wellness organization is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support strategic and financial decision-making across the company. This role will collaborate closely with the VP of Accounting, Finance and Treasurer, as well as teams in product, engineering, marketing, legal, and operations. The organization operates as a remote-first employer, with optional office access in Irvine, CA and New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product, business model, and financial outlook.
  • Provide product managers and department leaders with monthly insights on business trends.
  • Support short- and long-term financial planning, financial reporting, and KPI variance analysis.
  • Assist in driving key strategic initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance corporate financial models, including annual budgets, forecasts, and consolidated cash flows.
  • Build KPI frameworks and analyze product line performance.
  • Support high-impact decisions such as go-to-market strategies, partnership negotiations, and potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Prepare clear presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • Two or more years of relevant industry experience involving financial modeling (e.g., investment banking, private equity, corporate finance).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex financial modeling, analyze raw data, and draw clear conclusions.
  • High degree of organization, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to be hands-on in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong sense of ownership, pride in work, and ability to self-start.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $125,000 to $135,000 per year, with actual base pay dependent on factors such as location, experience, and skills.
