Overview

Position: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Remote (Must be authorized to work and located in the United States)

This role supports financial planning and analysis functions within a leading provider of background screening and HR technology solutions. The position involves collaboration with business partners to review financial results, support forecasting and budgeting, and prepare detailed financial reports for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to review financial results and operational changes
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and both short- and long-term business planning
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and month-end close activities
  • Prepare detailed analyses and reporting packages for senior leadership presentations
  • Generate monthly and quarterly variance reports, identifying causes and recommending resolutions
  • Calculate monthly labor capitalization with accuracy and audit-compliant documentation
  • Review and approve invoices and purchase orders against budget
  • Monitor budget management areas, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant financial analysis experience
  • Expert proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and charting
  • Strong knowledge of forecasting, scenario analysis, key metrics, and trending
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent presentation and professional communication skills, capable of engaging executive-level management (Directors, VPs, CFO)
  • Ability to explain complex analytics clearly and effectively, with a storytelling approach
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills
